Alison graduated with a degree in Leadership Studies from the University of Richmond and after a career in strategic consulting, has covered hockey for eight years for a variety of outlets.
Erica L. Ayala (She/Her)
Freelance multimedia journalist
Erica is a New York-based freelance multimedia journalist. She covers women’s basketball & hockey, and soccer for national outlets such as The New York Times, Sports Illustrated, and The Athletic. She is also the Hockey Friday writer for The IX Newsletter. Erica serves as a color analyst and rinkside reporter for the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL) and is a co-founder and host of the independent Founding 4 Podcast. In July, she launched Locked on Kraken, the daily podcast covering the NHL's 32nd team for the Locked on Podcast Network. Erica is volunteer for the Black Girl Hockey Club Get Uncomfortable campaign and has moderated several panels for the growing non-profit organization.

Gabs is an independent writer focused closely on the college and international games, Gabs has almost 10 years of experience covering women’s hockey. She prides herself on mediocre hockey analysis, unabashed use of the em dash, and writing one piece per year that makes everyone cry. Now a full-time content marketer, her favorite way to spend her free time is freezing her toes off at various rinks.

Nicole Haase is a freelance journalist in Milwaukee. She's the women's college hockey writer at USCHO (US College Hockey Online) and Victory Press. Nicole been covering women's hockey for more than 10 years.
Marisa Ingemi (She/Her)

Marisa has covered women’s hockey for more than a decade, and currently covers the sport for NBC and Sportsnet. She is the former play by play voice of the Boston Pride, and formerly covered women’s hockey at the Boston Herald.
Spencer Fascetta (He/Him)
Spencer is a graduate of Endicott College with a B.S. in Sport Management and Applied Mathematics (the first time that particular combination of majors had been attempted in school history), I spent two years as a volunteer statistician and video analyst for the University of New Hampshire women's ice hockey program, and wrote his senior thesis, titled "Increasing Offensive Efficiency in NCAA Women's Ice Hockey" using data I collected during that timeframe. I've also worked as an independent data analyst for the St. Louis Blues and for the racing website MotorsportsAnalytics.com , and transitioned into managing the women's hockey coverage for the Bruins and Pride Diehards website/podcast. Currently, I have a particular focus on prospect development and systems analysis in the women's game.
